Hello World!

 Hi, readers! My name is Amelia, though you can call me Milly or Ammi. I have a deep passion for mythology, folklore, religion and related studies such as humor history and the ilk. I AM NOT FORMALLY TRAINED but I do read a lot and I try to list as many of my sources as humanly possible. I tend to get my sources off of Archive.org (which I also regularly contribute to as well), as I believe in open information regarding the worlds' beliefs and such. For this blog, I'm trying to compile a large, well-cited and completely free 'bestiary' of all manner of creatures and beings all over the world, as well as essays and write ups on mythological concepts.

The inspiration of this blog came from this post on the Stealing Knowledge site. I hope to be as well-read as these fellas some day.

Professionally, I am a photographer. I'm also a hobbyist writer of fiction and non-fiction.
